Product Warranties

Thanks for taking the time to learn about Wexkit’s legal policies. It’s essential stuff. This is where you’ll locate facts about how we defend your privacy, what you can and can not do with Wexkit, and how we deal with consumer accounts.

OS Doors

As a representative of OS Doors Limited, which are a leading manufacturer and distributor of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom door frontals and accessories. All goods are designed and manufacturer to the highest possible quality. The following information is a brief guide to the manufacturer’s product warranty and general terms.

OS Doors warrants that on delivery & for the warranty period (as specified below) the goods shall:

  • Conform in all material respects with the description
  • Be free from material defects in design, material & workmanship
  • Of satisfactory quality as (in meaning) Sales & Goods Act 1979

Warranty Period
6 Years from invoiced date from manufacturer to include all product groups listed below:

  • Painted Stock – Italian Ranges
  • Solid Painted Range – Stock/Painted to order
  • Painted MTM Ranges – MDF Ranges
  • Acrylic Ranges – Matt & Gloss
  • PVC Stock Ranges – Matt & Gloss
  • PVC MTM Ranges – Matt & Gloss
  • 5 Piece Stock & MTM Ranges
  • Curved & Feature doors and accessories
  • PVC Standard Accessories
  • Zoom MFC Edged Ranges

Warranty extended based on the terms, conditions, installation, care and maintenance as detailed in full manufacturer’s warranty.

Franke

Franke warrants its sinks to be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal residential usage for the lifetime of the sink.

All taps purchased and installed in a private residence carry a 5-year (parts and labour) warranty on all mechanical parts to be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal usage.

Warranty restrictions on surface finish, cartridges & electric item

Duropal & Pfleiderer Worktop

Duropal & Pfleiderer laminate worktop come with 7-year limited warranty based on normal usage, care and maintenance.

Mica Post Form L/E Worktop

Warranty is limited to the laminate manufacturer guarantee, core material manufacturer restrictions. Base on product usage 5-year limited warranty in normal usage, care and maintenance.

Solid Timber Worktop

Warranty limited to the quality of installation, 1-year manufacturer defect warranty provided, the associated product guarantee is void should the installation instructions not be fully complied with.

Blum

Warrants its lift systems, hinges & drawer runners, against defects in material & workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the products. This warranty is a limited warranty of replacement only.

Xtreme

All kitchen & bedroom wirework & storage products are covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty, a 2-year warranty applies to internal mounted bins. 2-year warranty applies to all cabinet handles/knobs. Basic hinges have a 1-year warranty.

Quattro

All Quattro taps installed in a private residence carry a 2-year replacement warranty on all mechanical parts to be free of manufacturing defects in material. No liability will be accepted for removal or refit costs incurred.

Extractor – Warranty (manufacturer dependant)

Xtreme – 1-year manufacturers replacement warranty
Faber – 1-year manufacturers replacement warranty
Nordmende – 2-year manufacturers parts & labour warranty
Additional 1-year extended warranty available on Faber & Nordmende when online registration completed – restriction apply

Schock Composite Sink

All composite sinks are cover by 25-year private residential warranty, subject to normal usage & care, manufacturer direct.

Sanindusa Ceramic

All ceramic sinks are cover by 10-year private residential warranty, subject to normal usage & care, manufacturer direct.

Ukinox Sinks

Warrants its sinks to be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal residential usage for the lifetime of the sink. Surface finish exclusion.

Nordmende

Nordmende – 2-year manufacturers parts & labour warranty
Additional 1-year extended warranty available on Faber & Nordmende when online registration completed – restrictions apply

Unihopper

Hinges – 3-year manufacturers replacement warranty
Drawer System – 3-year manufacturers replacement warranty
Subject to normal residential usage and care

Components

Full warranty detail can be obtained direct from manufacturers. Additional components, sheet materials, fixings, adhesives, accessories and all other items carry standard manufacturer and/or distributor warranty.
Where possible we ensure that all products for resale come with a suitable manufacturer and/or distributor warranty. We endeavour to provide all products and materials from reputable companies employing good social responsibilities, with a strong Environmental Stewardship Policy.
